The Baby Lock Crown Jewel & Quilt Motion have arrived!

We are so excited to announce that the new Baby Lock Crown Jewel and the Quilt Motion Software have arrived!

Here are a few answer to the common question "What are the differences between the Jewel and the Crown Jewel?"

1. The Crown Jewel stitches 1,800 stitches per minute as opposed to the Jewel which does 1,500
2. The Crown Jewel will stitch between 4 and 18 stitches per inch as opposed to the Jewel which will do between 4 and 15
3. The Crown Jewel has a color touch screen which is easier to navigate and will allow the user to see all of their options laid out before them as opposed to moving from the settings page that is set up on the Jewel.
4. There are two different modes of stitch regulation as well as the ability to run in a manual mode
5. Precision – this mode for stitch regulation allows the machine to stitch as the head is moved and to stop when the machine is stationary. This is a fabulous feature for someone who wants to do ruler work or while you are working with pattern boards. I personally love this mode. The machine will not turn off until you turn it off.
6. Cruise – this mode will immediately move the needle up and down upon starting the machine. It is based upon a percentage of the motor speed and still allows you to set your desired stitch length. Unlike the Precision mode, Cruise will stitch in place if you rest the head in one place.

As for the Quilt Motion Software.....we have it all set up.....we've watched the video.....now it is time to start playing!

Are you wondering what is so great about Quilt Motion? Is it really something you need to add to your long arm machine? My answer is simple.....YES!!!

There is no question that a part of the enjoyment of sewing is having the right tools for the job! That can be a certain accessory foot,proper lighting ormy mostcurrent find the Posture Pleaser!

This is aproduct thatreally promotes good posture. It also prevents muscle strain in the neck, shoulders andarmswhile sewing, quilting, painting, crafting or working at your computer.
I had recently asked my hubby Joe to give it a whirl. He as been dealing with alot of the above complaints, which made him the perfect candidate for test driving this new product. I am happy to reporthe is noticing relief already in his shouldersand kneck!

Proper lighting isso important when we are sewing, crafting, quilting, or reading. So are proper glasses....but that is a whole other story...A couple weeks ago I brought in the LED Desk Lamp that has 40 Led lights Ilike that even though it has 40 lights it is small and is easy on your eyes. I have one in my reading area as well as by my sewing machine.

What is the Best Press Starch you ask?Best Press Starch is a clear starch alternative for those of you who do not like to useaerosal starch. Thisenviromentally friendly starch comes either lightly sented or non-scented. Great for using in classes as you don't have to air out the room after using.
There is no flaking, clogging or white residue on dark fabrics. I also really like the fragrences available. It makes ironing that much more enjoyable if you can have the scent of a Carribean Beach, a Citrus Grove, or a Lavender Field.
